Manchester United vs Newcastle United
English Premier League
Date: Saturday, 6th October 2018
Kick-off at 17:30 UK/ 18:30 CET
Venue: Old Trafford (Manchester).
Just when we thought that the red devils will get reignited after their defeat by the hammers, they get held to a goalless draw by Spain based Valencia in their UEFA champions league fixture.
Drama seems to be unending for Mourinho as the club got fined by UEFA for failing to be in the pitch at the right time. How can you be late for a match, especially when playing at home?
To many football fans around the world, the woes in the club are almost similar to a volcano waiting to erupt. Most notably, before the eruption, the overall performance of the team will perhaps deteriorate to a point of minimal or no salvaging.
As they come into this home game against Newcastle, they are evidently not in good form neither are they having the right mood. It may be hard for them to get an outright win in this fixture.
Newcastle is suffering from the same performance disorders as their opponents in this game. They have not scooped a win in any of the last 7 games of this season. The teams have only managed to make their tally to 2 after settling for 2 draws and losing the other 5 games.
Rafael Benitez will be striving to take advantage of the fact that Mourinho’s side is disorganized and come out of this matchup with something. Most preferably, Benitez would like to thrash the Red Devils in the full glare of their home based fans, but it will not be easy as said.
