Tottenham vs PSV Eindhoven
UEFA Champions League
Date: Tuesday, 6th November 2018
Kick-Off at 20:00 UK / 21:00 CET
Venue: Wembley Stadium (London).
Tottenham allowed a late collapse to concede an 87th-minute equalizer from Luuk de Jong two weeks ago in Eindhoven. The two teams are now lock at a single point each at the very bottom of the Group B standings following opening two defeats to the likes of Barcelona and Inter.
Both Spurs and PSV now have an uphill battle to climb to challenge Inter in the battle for the second place in the group. They trail five points each behind Nerazzurri in second and will hope to narrow in down to two after Matchday No 4 ties.
Only a win here keeps these two likes in the contest for the knockout stage, meaning e should be in for a thrilling open combat at Wembley Stadium.
Mauricio Pochettino’s men offered a generally fine display in Eindhoven. Christian Eriksen, who returned on the pitch after an injury, was just brilliant as he practically set up both Harry Kane and Lucas Moura goals.
The Danish midfielder will be Tottenham’s driving force on Tuesday and we expect him to guide the Spurs to their maiden victory of the campaign. The hosts will be without the first-choice keeper ad their captain Hugo Lloris who was sent off 13 days ago in Eindhoven.
